You are invited to this one-day workshop which will focus on how to give patients a reason to want to come and see you rather than your colleagues or competitors.

Before you start thinking about advertising your services, you should make sure that you have these processes in place so that anyone who comes across your website or your profile, will be treated to a consistent process that caters for all levels of enquiries – from people who are just looking for more information to people who want to book an appointment or procedure right away (by the way, there will be a lot more of the former than the latter).

We will cover:

  • how to give relevant information to patients that addresses their concerns and give patients time and space to consider things (not everyone is ready to buy when you are ready to sell)
  • how to make the most of your database 
    • building your database
    • segmenting your database
    • contacting your database
  • what you need to measure so that you can track your progress and know whether your changes are making a difference
  • how to put in systems that deliver a consistent response to patients at all levels of the research process so that you can keep in touch and be there when they have a query or want to get back in touch

Who is it for?

This meeting is for ambitious doctors who have the time and the capacity to grow their private practice.

Who is it not for?

It is not for doctors who are too busy to spend time on working on their business and would prefer to work in their business.

We are all busy and if you are waiting until you have some free time before you start working on building your practice, then we might be waiting some time!

This course is not for you if you feel that the focus should be on delivering the clinical care and the rest of your practice should be handled by a manager or your secretary.

We will talk about how to market your practice so that you can position yourself as the expert that you are.

This one day course in Birmingham is open to any fully trained Consultant who holds or has held an NHS Consultant Post.

It is not for trainees or any non-trained doctors.
