you could check here Having been a full-time NHS Consultant, I became disillusioned with the way that the Consultant role had been undermined and I left the NHS in 2012 to concentrate on my private practice full-time.
What I didn’t realise was how much I relied on the local private hospitals to provide me with patients.
As soon as I opened my clinic, my referrals from the local hospitals plummeted and my overheads soared.
I needed to increase my enquiries and I needed to make sure that patients wanted to come and see me rather than any other doctor at the hospital.
I had been dabbling with paid advertising (Google Adwords, Facebook Ads and magazine articles) at the time but to be honest, I didn’t really know whether I was getting a good return on my investment or not.
As my income dropped, I became very aware of the need to maximise any money I put in to make sure that I would be getting more money out.
Over the years, I have learned that concentrating on providing a better service to my patients at every stage is the most cost-effective way to get more patients.
